**Graham Potter was dealt a significant blow ahead our loss to Wolves on Tuesday night.**
The West Ham boss had intended to have both Mohammed Kudus and Jean-Clair Todibo available and most likely to start, however both were ruled out through injury, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
In what was a disappointing night for all connected with the club, Ex has advised that Mohammed Kudus had sustained an injury whilst away with Ghana, while Jean-Clair Todibo had also picked up a knock.
“Unfortunately Kudus sustained an injury whilst on international duty last week, which has meant the player has not been available, including training. The club were keen to give him every chance but unfortunately the Wolves game came too soon for him, which meant he didn’t even travel.
“Todibo was another absentee, which was caused by a bug and also a knock he’d picked up in training,
“It is hoped that both will however be available this Saturday when we face Bournemouth at the London Stadium.”
Our club insider also advised that there is still some confusion over the possible return of Crysencio Summerville, with some hope that he may be back sooner than first feared.
“It’s a strange situation with Summerville,” stated Ex. “A top source advised that he will be out for the rest of the season, however I did state that he has in the past has a pessimistic view, especially with injuries.
“It now appears that the player is targeting a return of 3-4 weeks, without the need for surgery. So it could be that Summerville will play again this season. However, there is certainly not confidence as of yet from the club. With a fear that the issue will not be fully resolved and therefore could reoccur.”
Ex also added that Michail Antonio is still very much ahead of schedule as he sets his sights on a return this season too. However, the club are unsure whether this can be achieved at this stage, especially considering the magnitude of the injuries he sustained in the car accident last year.
