Excitement is building for a draft guy like me, with the 2025 NFL Draft just three weeks away. My final big board with my top 150 players was published yesterday. This class may not have a ton of superstar prospects, but I think the depth of this class is fantastic. The Cleveland Browns have a chance to inject a much-needed injection of youth and talent into their roster. Let's get into this week's Browns draft mailbag questions.
I believe Berry is seriously considering trading down the 33rd pick. What's your opinion? - DmitrijSevkov
Personally, I think they're more likely to trade up for a quarterback prospect they like if/when they slide into striking range. There's always a chance that they move back to pick up additional capital, but I think it's either a trade-up or they stay put; based on the second tier of talent and the depth it has, they'll have an excellent prospect or two available.
Thoughts on Judkins? He and Hunter certainly fit the bill as of marquee talent as they figure out QB. - Dino
Quinshon Judkins from Ohio State is running back three on my big board behind North Carolina's Omarion Hampton and Boise State's Ashton Jeanty. He's the whole package: smart with good vision and runs with power but has excellent explosiveness and top speed, too. He added size this year at Ohio State, and instead of losing the explosion, he just became a complete package. He wasn't as big a part of the passing game this year, but with Ole Miss, he showed how good of a receiving threat he can be. I would love to have him in Cleveland.
If Milroe is drafted and Travis Hunter, how do they fit in cle? - unrestrictedgamer
Travis Hunter is a generational talent. I know that term is overused, but not in this case. He's the best wide receiver and the best corner in this class. Andrew Berry said they think of him as a wide receiver first, so he likely focuses on that while playing something like 15-20 defensive snaps. They could adjust the workload as the season goes on. He makes the offense more dynamic immediately and helps the defense become locked down in coverage.
Jalen Milroe is still a work in progress, and unless something goes horribly wrong, he shouldn't see the field as a rookie. He's a great athlete at the position with a beautiful deep ball and a bazooka for his right arm. He's already shown improvement during the process with his footwork and throwing mechanics; if he continues to grow and play up to his potential, he can be a great franchise quarterback.
