Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones may have made a massive mistake when it comes to contract discussions with superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons.
While the two sides continue to navigate negotiations, Jones made a tough comment. He commented disrespectfully about Parsons' agent, David Mulugheta.
Parsons quickly responded to Jones' comments and it was clear that he was not happy.
"David is the best and I will not be doing any deal without (Mulugheta) involved!" he wrote. "Like anyone with good sense I hired experts for a reason. There is no one I trust more when it comes to negotiating contracts than David! There will be no backdoors in this contract negotiation."
Following the potential mistake from Jones, he is now being ripped into by a three-time Super Bowl champion.
During an appearance on "Breakfast Ball," Mark Schlereth did not hold back on Jones and the way he has handled the Parsons situation.
"This is why a head coach shouldn't be a GM. This is why the owner shouldn't be the GM. This is why you should hire somebody to do his job." he said.

At this point in time, there is no telling whether or not the Cowboys will get a new deal done with Parsons. It seems likely the two sides will work something out, but that is not a guarantee.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III suggested that Parsons should demand a trade out of Dallas.
"If Micah Parsons wants to win AND get paid, he should demand a trade from the Dallas Cowboys," Griffin wrote in a post on X.
Only time will tell, but the situation between Jones and Parsons has grown much more tense.
