Liverpool's Sunday end to the Premier League season has been further extended with the showdown against title rivals Arsenal having been moved. Broadcasters have taken their pick of the Premier League games in the second weekend of next month and the Reds have been affected.
The Anfield clash against the Gunners will now take place on Sunday, May 11 at 4.30pm, with the game being broadcast live on Sky Sports. Arne Slot's side currently stand 12 points clear of Arsenal at the Premier League summit with eight games remaining.
With Liverpool requiring a maximum of 13 more points to mathematically confirm a record-equalling 20th championship, the Reds could have wrapped up the title by the time the two main contenders clash.

And the rearrangement continues an end to the season in which Liverpool are scheduled to play seven of their remaining games on a Sunday, starting at Fulham this weekend.
They then entertain West Ham United, go to Leicester City, are at home to Tottenham Hotspur and travel to Chelsea before the clash against Arsenal.
With the final game at home to Crystal Palace also on a Sunday, it means at present Liverpool's only remaining fixture scheduled for a Saturday is the trip to Brighton on the penultimate weekend of the season.
That, though, is subject to change with the television dates for the 37th matchday likely to be confirmed next week.
