One of the hot names in the 2025 NFL Draft class over the past few days has been cornerback Shavon Revel. The East Carolina University product has been building some steam as a potential fit for the Green Bay Packers of late, and now we’re beginning to learn more about his story and his football journey.
Like many football players, Revel started from humble beginnings. Revel went the junior college route before he got to ECU, and it took an amazing workout at a tryout for the Pirates to catch some eyes. Once he did, however, he took off and was flying high until tearing his ACL in practice last fall.
Revel is becoming a popular mock draft pick for the Packers in the second round, and for good reason. Check out the scouting report our Justis Mosqueda just published on him, and keep in mind that the Packers have a visit scheduled with him ahead of the draft. It would hardly be a surprise if he ended up wearing Green and Gold before the end of the month.
