The NBA is investigating Ja Morant for making his arms mimic shooting a gun toward Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors during a game on Tuesday (Apr 1).
According to *ESPN*‘s Shams Charania, the league also considers Warriors guard Buddy Hield for responding with a similar gesture.
Come on @NBA — and the rest of us. Totally unnecessary. Let @JaMorant play in peace. Let’s not look for things. The playoffs are about to begin. Let’s enjoy the games. Morant didn’t do anything flagrant. Folks are reaching now. https://t.co/cmeWaGgYBu

The moment occurred with 20 seconds left in the game, as Morant headed to the Grizzlies’ bench, aiming imaginary guns at the Warriors’ bench. Heild and Morant were extended double techs.
Previously, Morant was suspended by the NBA for gun-related incidents.
