CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - There’s no doubt the Cavs are having fun together this season, both on and off the court.
That includes a little rookie ribbing and pranking that involved popcorn and donuts!
We went to the Cleveland Clinic Courts for Cleveland Cooks, to make a sweet treat the players are pretty fond of.
Executive Chef Terry Bell says on game days it’s always been tradition that the rookies have to bring in donuts.
If they forget, or don’t bring in donuts, there’s consequences.
Recently Jaylon Tyson’s car got filled with popcorn when he made that rookie mistake.
Clearly, the team takes their donuts seriously. But several of them try to eat more gluten and dairy free foods.
So, Bell developed a gluten-free dairy-free version of the team’s traditional breakfast treat that he is sharing with us.
