Leicester City are set to be relegated back to the Championship as they suffered a seventh straight defeat against Manchester City last night.
Leicester are a whopping 12 points adrift from safety, so it’d take a truly remarkable run of form to pull off a great escape.
As such, Leicester chiefs will already have one eye on next season as they will once again have to budget for the second tier.
Many first-teamers are expected to depart, with Arsenal already eyeing Moroccan playmaker Bilal El Khannouss.
Mads Hermansen is being watched by Manchester United, so he’s another key player who could be moved on for big money.
And, of course, there’s a decision to be made on Jamie Vardy as he approaches the final few months of his contract.
Sky Sports journalist Rob Dorsett has just issued a major update on his situation.

Jamie Vardy won’t retire and could sign new Leicester City contract
Vardy turned 38 in January, so quite clearly, he’s coming to the end of his illustrious career.
Many Leicester fans expect him to hang up his boots in the summer, with City surely unlikely to carry his wages in the second tier again.
However, Rob Dorsett has now confirmed that Vardy has no plans to retire and could be convinced to pen a fresh deal with the Foxes.
Dorsett adds that Vardy still has an emotional pull to the club, so the veteran striker could be staying put after all.
Vardy would still be prolific in Championship
Despite suggestions that Vardy is on a rapid decline, there’s still no doubt he’d score goals in the second tier.
In fact, even this season in the Premier League, the former England international has scored a respectable seven goals whilst laying on three assists.
Plus, in last term’s promotion-winning campaign, Vardy netted 18 times in as many starts, which was, of course, the best minutes-per-goal ratio in the division.
So, Vardy would still be invaluable in Leicester’s forthcoming promotion campaign, though, he’d need to be rotated to manage his minutes.
