The Houston Rockets clinched a spot in the Western Conference playoffs after a 143-105 win against the Utah Jazz. It's the first time that the Rockets will make the playoffs since the 2019-2020 season. The Rockets accomplished another goal as they won their 50th game of the season.

Coach Udoka is excited for the guys that haven't made the playoffs before however, this was always the expectation going into the season for the team.
"It feels good to be back in the playoffs! I'm sure for the guys that haven't been there it's a good accomplishment and achievement. It was our expectation for this year, especially building off of last year so I don't think anybody is overly excited to see us do what we do. We have been in a good position now it's about maintaining that," said Udoka.

The Rockets currently are the second seed if the playoffs started today. They have a 3-game lead over the third-place Los Angeles Lakers with 5 games remaining in the regular season.
