Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has been an unpopular figure among several of the club’s fans since BlueCo’s takeover in 2022.
The London giants have largely underperformed on the pitch over the past couple of years despite spending heavily on new signings, raising questions about the Stamford Bridge chief’s ability to deliver success.
Boehly is a director of American site Vivid Seats, which facilitates the resale of Premier League match tickets at up to £20,000.
In an open letter to Premier League chief executive Richard Masters the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust has asked the league to “act and investigate” Boehly’s involvement in the company.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider there is no evidence to suggest the Chelsea chairman has done anything wrong.
Borson previously told Football Insider Boehly’s involvement in Vivid Seats is “horrendous” from a PR perspective.

Todd Boehly to avoid punishment after Chelsea letter
Borson insisted Boehly has shares in several businesses alongside Vivid Seats.
He told Football Insider: “I need to understand the detail of his ownership, but as far as I can see, he’s not really involved in executive capacity at Vivid and there is no evidence of wrongdoing.
“I suspect it’s a nothing story and that he’s done nothing wrong, and he just happens to be a shareholder in a company as he’s got lots of shareholdings in lots of companies.
“I suspect there’s no story.
“Nobody has shown any evidence of any wrongdoing at all.
“I don’t think people have even shown what rule he’s meant to have breached.
“As far as I can see, it’s a nothing story.”

Man United will accept a £70million offer for Mainoo after he’s been linked with several clubs over the past few months.
The 19-year-old has registered one goal and one assist in 25 appearances this season, but he’s been out of action since early February through injury.
