As the Sacramento Kings continue to nosedive toward the end of the 2024-25 regular season, the NBA Play-In Tournament schedule has been revealed.

The Kings (36-40) currently hold a slim one-game lead over the Phoenix Suns (35-41) for the 10th seed in the Western Conference standings with just five games remaining on the Suns’ schedule, meaning each game comes with heightened stakes.

Phoenix will navigate an upcoming slate that includes matchups with the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, and Oklahoma City Thunder without injured superstar forward Kevin Durant (ankle), leaving the door open for Sacramento to sneak into the Play-In game.

Between the Kings and Suns, one team will end the season with the 10th seed and likely face the ninth-seed Dallas Mavericks, who have remained afloat even after the stunning trade of Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers and the loss of star guard Kyre Irving to a torn ACL.

When would the Sacramento Kings play in this potential win-or-go-home 9th vs. 10th seed game? Here’s a look at the NBA Play-In Tournament schedule:
