Dan Friedkin's Everton masterplan for Goodison Park now clear as FIFA make historic…

Evertonians will be dreading the upcoming final fixture of Goodison Park as the Bramley Moore-Dock Stadium beckons.

It’s an emotional season for the Toffees, but what better way to give Goodison Park its send-off with David Moyes in charge.

The Everton boss will be hoping to continue their fine form at home right up until Goodison’s farewell, as Moyes’ side are five games unbeaten at The Grand Old Lady.

With just four games left, the 133 years of history could be demolished, but according to The Times, the women’s team could take on the reigns.

This remains to be seen, but this new announcement could show that Dan Friedkin has a masterplan ready and waiting.

FIFA make historic announcement that Everton women will love

With Goodison Park cherishing so many memories, Ashley Young plans to pinch Goodison’s tunnel sign, as the players will want their own moments from an iconic stadium, as it will be such a shame to see it knocked down.

Well, FIFA president Gianni Infantino has announced that the next Women’s World Cup is set to be hosted in the United Kingdom.

Dan Friedkin’s plan for Goodison clear after FIFA announcement

Being such an iconic stadium, it would feel like a waste just to see Everton’s ground turned into rubble, hence why The Friedkins are looking into the women’s team having Goodison as their new home.

Well with the next Women’s World Cup in the UK, Goodison could have even more use and potentially play host to games taking place.

It could be a masterclass from Friedkin, who knows how much the ground means to the fans, as Evertonians want Goodison’s last game at 3 pm to have the perfect final fixture.

Goodison played host during the 1966 World Cup, hosting five games, as Eusebio called Goodison the world’s best stadium.

With the legendary striker being such an iconic World Cup forward, Friedkin may present the idea of Goodison being a venue for 2035 in extraordinary fashion.

Not only does it keep Goodison’s spirit alive, but 79 years later, it can once again be a World Cup stadium.
