Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite was left furious with Liverpool’s goal in Wednesday’s Merseyside Derby.
David Moyes saw his horrid run at Anfield continue as he still searches for his very first victory away to Liverpool.
The game at Anfield was filled with controversial decisions by Sam Barrott and his assistants.
Mark Clattenburg feels Luis Diaz was offside, with Everton having a real scope for feeling hard done by for the deciding goal of the game.
Defeat for Everton has seen the Toffees miss the opportunity to get back to winning ways following the international break.
However, Branthwaite has admitted that there is one big positive to take from the game at Anfield after what he saw from the Liverpool players.

Jarrad Branthwaite issues Liverpool dig after Merseyside Derby loss
Everton fans mocked Liverpool for playing a recording of You’ll Never Walk Alone which was played over the Sky Sports broadcast.
The game was close, with Everton creating a number of big opportunities for themselves.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Speaking to Everton’s media after the game, Branthwaite admitted the reaction of the Liverpool players said it all about the game they were handed by the visitors.
“I think you’ve seen the reaction after the game by them. You know, it was a massive game for them,” he said.
“And you can see how happy they were with the result, which proves how much of a game we’ve given them. I think on the last game when I came here, it wasn’t the case.”
Moyes has told Branthwaite he doesn’t need to leave Everton if he wants to play for the England senior side.
And the defender has even suggested in these comments that Everton are capable of providing sides like Liverpool with a real run for their money.
Back in February, Virgil van Dijk mocked Everton fans for suggesting the Merseyside Derby was their cup final.
It was an interview which really shocked a lot of people considering Everton were celebrating a last-gasp equaliser.
However, Branthwaite clearly feels the Toffees have come a long way under Moyes to see the Premier League champions-elect celebrate the way they did.
Perhaps the 22-year-old is just trying to get his own back after Van Dijk’s comments, but they may not go down well at Anfield.
