Terance Mann, who is currently with the Atlanta Hawks, will be the assistant GM for Florida State men's basketball, the program announced on Thursday. He is the latest addition to a fast-growing staff for new head coach Luke Loucks.
"Once a 'Nole, always a 'Nole," the tweet read. "Pumped to welcome Terance Mann back as Assistant General Manager. Let's get to work!"
Mann played collegiately for the Seminoles and was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He was with the Clippers until earlier this season when he was traded to the Hawks.
Mann is expected to remain an active NBA player, despite taking on this additional role.
Other NBA players who have done similar for their alma maters is Trae Young with Oklahoma and Steph Curry with Davidson.
No further information was provided by FSU coinciding with the announcement regarding Mann.
