Florida State men’s hoops announces Terance Mann as Assistant GM

On Thursday, Florida State basketball announced that Terance Mann, Florida State’s men's all-time leader in games played and 48th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, would be joining FSU head coach Luke Loucks’ front office as assistant general manager. Former college stars around the NBA, such as Steph Curry and Trae Young, are assuming roles in their alma mater’s programs.

Mann, a current NBA player with the Atlanta Hawks, will continue playing, and the details of his role were not made clear. However, he is closer to home after being traded to ATL from the Los Angeles Clippers during last February’s trade deadline, the first time Mann moved teams to that point in his professional career. He is in the first season of a 3-year, $47 million contract.
