FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they traded QB Joe Milton III to the Dallas Cowboys. Terms of the trade were not announced.
Milton, 25, was drafted by New England in the sixth round (193rd overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Tennessee. The 6-foot-5, 246-pounder, spent the majority of the year as the third quarterback. He entered the regular season finale vs. Buffalo on Jan. 5 after the first series and finished 22-of-29 for 241 yards and 1 touchdown in a 23-16 victory. Milton played his first three collegiate seasons at Michigan before transferring to Tennessee.
