Graham Potter has opened up on West Ham United’s struggles this season.
West Ham appointed Graham Potter back in early January, but he hasn’t had a huge impact as things stand.
Sure, the Hammers head coach has made a few small improvements – the defending has got a lot better under the 49-year-old, that’s for sure.
It has to be said, Graham Potter is a big improvement on Julen Lopetegui, certainly from a man-management perspective, but the impact he has had so far hasn’t been as big as many fans expected.

Potter clearly still has a lot of work to do, if he is to turn things around at the London Stadium.
In fairness to him, he has had to make do without many of his best players due to injury over the past three months.
Graham Potter says West Ham have really missed Niclas Fullkrug
Hammers striker Niclas Fullkrug has spent most of this season on the sidelines.
He returned to the side for our clash with Wolves on Tuesday.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
And Jarrod Bowen raved about Niclas Fullkrug after his performance for West Ham at Molineux.
The 32-year-old will be pivotal for the Hammers between now and the end of the season, if he manages to maintain his fitness of course.
Potter spoke to reporters on Thursday, and shared how much West Ham have missed the Germany international, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“We’ve been missing him, as well as some of the other attackers such as [Crysencio] Summerville and [Michail] Antonio, who are big players for us.

“I think you can see what he brings to the team. He’s unique, and a big, physical player, but he’s also intelligent, good around the box, and he has a good touch and technique.
“From our perspective, we just have to keep working with him, and keep getting him fitter and fitter. You can’t replicate Premier League minutes, but he’s worked hard in training and he’s prepared to play and take it step by step.“
Tim Steidten is still helping Niclas Fullkrug
The Hammers parted ways with Tim Steidten back in February.
He was, and still is, a fairly unpopular figure amongst the fans at the London Stadium.
However, it’s worth noting that he has been helping Fullkrug through his recent injury problems.
Steidten has been sending Fullkrug messages of support throughout his spell on the sidelines.
Fair play to him.
Hopefully Niclas Fullkrug starts firing for West Ham – he certainly has the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League.
