The overhaul of USC football's personnel staff continues. USC is reportedly set to hire Conor McQuiston as the program's director of football analytics, according to John Brice of Football Scoop. McQuiston has worked with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, Pro Football Focus, NextGen Stats and, most recently, Prize Picks, in his career. McQuiston will be the first ever full-time analytics staffer inside the football program.

USC's made a handful of changes to its personnel staff this offseason. The moves started when the Trojans hired general manager Chad Bowden away from Notre Dame in January. Bowden brought Zaire Turner, USC's assistant athletic director of recruiting operations, with him from South Bend. Bowden also hired Dre Brown, USC's assistant general manager, away from Illinois, as well as Max Stienecker, USC's executive director of personnel, away from Wisconsin. Brown and Stienecker had both worked under Bowden previously.
Since arriving at USC, Bowden has helped USC attain the current No. 1 ranked recruiting class in the 2026 cycle. In total, 11 of USC's 19 commitments have come since Bowden was hired.
As an analytics expert, McQuiston will likely help with scouting and in game decision making.
