Green Bay Packers Predicted to Land 2 Intriguing Sleeper Weapons for Jordan Love

Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers have had a solid offense over the last couple of years, but there have been some consistency issues. Coming into the 2025 NFL offseason, fans were hoping to see the team bring in a legitimate No. 1 target for Love.

Unfortunately, that did not end up happening. The fans are now hoping for an impact wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft.

There has been some speculation that the Packers could draft a wide receiver in the first round. However, that would be a major change from what Brian Gutekunst and the front office have normally done for many years.

It’s much more likely that Green Bay will focus on adding some sleeper targets for Love later in the draft. Gutekunst has taken swings on quite a few wide receivers in the mid-to-late rounds.

A new prediction has the Packers bringing in two sleeper weapons for Love in an attempt to improve the offense.

Green Bay Packers Predicted to Land 2 Intriguing Sleeper Weapons for Jordan Love

Bill Huber of On SI has released a new seven-round mock draft for Green Bay. In that mock draft, he had them selecting Utah State wideout Jalen Royals in the third round and backing that move up with Colorado State wide receiver Tory Horton in the fourth round.

Royals would be a very interesting pickup for the Packers. He caught 55 passes for 834 yards and six touchdowns during the 2024 college football season. In 2023, he racked up 71 receptions for 1,080 yards and 15 touchdowns.

As for Horton, he is the bigger sleeper of the two. He caught just 26 passes for 353 yards and a touchdown in 2024, but played in just five games. During the 2023 season, he totaled 96 catches for 1,136 yards and eight scores.

Both players would be solid additions for the Green Bay offense. They may not be elite No. 1 targets, but the two young wide receivers would add playmaking ability to a young and talented offense.

It will be interesting to see what the Packers choose to do in the draft this year. Should they end up adding both Royals and Horton, the offense would be in a much better place.
