GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The NFL Draft is three weeks away and the city is preparing for the influx of people. A projected 250,000 fans are expected, which could mean a huge boost for area businesses.
The NFL Draft committee, the Green Bay Packers and Discover Green Bay hosted an event discuss how green bay businesses are gearing up for the highly anticipated NFL Draft.
Encouraging all businesses and not just those surrounding the Johnsonville Tailgate Village to create diverse and unique marketing plans to entice visitors and give them a taste of the real Wisconsin.
With 21 days left they have just under 3 weeks to get creative. The economic impact...is also expected to be huge.
“This is going to have a lot of economic impact. now we’re forecasting $90 million of economic benefit and be with hundreds of organizations business owners and individuals be creative and find a way to lean in and engage and find a way to make some money while the draft is here,” said Mike Haddad, chair, 2025 NFL Draft Green Bay Committee
