Report: Rookie Devin Carter (shoulder) considered day-to-day

Not much has gone well for the Sacramento Kings, as they’re dealing with injuries while trying to compete for the Western Conference play-in. The team announced Thursday that rookie guard Devin Carter has been diagnosed with a right shoulder contusion.

Carter is considered day-to-day and will be listed as questionable versus the Charlotte Hornets, per the team.

He suffered the injury in the second quarter versus the Orlando Magic on Saturday, March 29.

Without the rookie guard, interim head coach Doug Christie has leaned more heavily on Markelle Fultz. Striving to complete their play-in goals, we’ll see how the Kings manage to remain in this final stretch, while having to do so without Carter.
