Former Virginia Tech star has a slew of pre-draft meetings set up with top NFL teams

We are three weeks away from the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay where dreams become reality for several players looking to play the next level. This season and after a quiet 2024 Draft for former Virginia Tech players, it is expected to be a busy weekend in terms of some former Hokies hearing their name called on the stage in Wisconsin.

Some Hokies have generated a lot of buzz ahead of the draft and are primed to play at the next level and make an impact. Running back Bhayshul Tuten had a very impressive NFL Combine after a good week in January at the Reese's Senior Bowl. Aeneas Peebles and Antwaun Powell-Ryland are players along the defensive line who are making a name for themselves to be at least a Day 3 pick, if not higher.

There are two wide receivers, Jaylin Lane and Da'Quan Felton, who are in the draft and it expected to be drafted. Lane has stood out in some of the pre-draft workouts and it appears that he's getting a lot of interest as he has had and has more meetings set up with teams ahead of the draft.

Lane has reportedly met with the Buffalo Bills and has meetings scheduled with the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles and runner-up Kansas City Chiefs. Other teams in the mix are rebuilders and teams looking to take the next step.

Lane is a play-making wide receiver who would be an asset to any team that selects him. He has breakaway speed and good hands. He can run a route and get seperation from a defender. There is no doubt that he'll hear his name called, it's just a matter of where.
