West Ham mock Man United star in viral video after what he did during 2-0 loss

West Ham have rubbed salt into Manchester United’s wounds after their victory at Old Trafford.

Manchester United’s terrible Premier League form continued on Sunday afternoon with a 2-0 defeat to West Ham.

It was the first time West Ham had won at Old Trafford for 18 years, and the defeat rang alarm bells for Ruben Amorim, who slammed his side’s “embarrassing” position in the Premier League table.

Not only were United toothless up front, but once again the Red Devils made too many mistakes and were made to pay by a clinical West Ham side.

The win kept West Ham above United in the league table, and the Hammers are taking every opportunity to celebrate their victory.

West Ham mock Altay Bayindir moment at Old Trafford

It is no secret that United are prioritising the Europa League over the Premier League and have been for some time. The season hinges on winning the Europa League final later this month.

So it was hardly a surprise that Amorim made six changes to his lineup against West Ham, including a change between the sticks.

Altay Bayindir stepped in to replace Andre Onana, who was left out of the squad completely.

Unfortunately, the 27-year-old conceded two of the four shots on his goal, and West Ham have mocked the Turkey international for what he did after Jarrod Bowen doubled the visitors’ lead.

West Ham’s viral Tik Tok video shows a moment where Bayindir looks as though he is celebrating their second goal.

Altay Bayindir expected to leave Man United this summer

United have suffered a bit of a goalkeeping crisis this season with neither Andre Onana nor Bayindir performing at a top level.

Earlier this season, Amorim dropped Onana after his mistakes against Lyon, but Bayindir failed to take his opportunity when given a chance to impress.

Ahead of the January window, reports suggested Amorim wants to sign two new goalkeepers and that could certainly be the case this summer after an underwhelming season from both shot-stoppers.

Bayindir is expected to leave United this summer in search of regular first-team football. A sale was considered over January, but now an exit feels inevitable once the season comes to an end.

United have already begun looking at goalkeeping replacements with the likes of Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and James Trafford emerging as targets.
