A heated postgame exchange between Russell Westbrook and Aaron Gordon led one Nuggets teammate to label Westbrook as "immature."
Denver Nuggets guard Russell Westbrook is known for his fiery personality, and that intensity was on full display during Game 2 of their first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, tensions boiled over in the locker room after that loss.
Multiple sources told ESPN that while interim head coach David Adelman was speaking at the postgame podium, Westbrook and teammate Aaron Gordon got into a heated exchange.
Gordon reportedly confronted Westbrook about his attitude, and one anonymous Nuggets player offered a blunt explanation: "He's so immature."

Despite the confrontation, another player framed the incident as a sign of the team's accountability.
"The great thing about this team is we're not afraid to talk honestly with each other and hold each other accountable," he told ESPN.
Through the 2025 playoffs, Westbrook is averaging 13.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
The Nuggets are currently tied 2-2 in their second-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Game 5 set for Tuesday night in OKC.
