After a well-earned extended period of rest, the squad were back out on the training pitch in preparation for the World Sevens tournament.
City signed off for 2024/25 with a 5-2 win over Crystal Palace, with Rebecca Knaak and Kerolin Nicoli both grabbing a brace either side of a Jill Roord goal.
It ensured we finished a challenging season on a positive note, but the players were working hard back on the pitch with the sun beating down in Manchester.
City take part in the inaugural World Sevens tournament later this month, facing FC Rosengard, Ajax and Bayern Munich in Portugal.
An exciting new seven-a-side format with 30-minute matches, the tournament spans just three days from Wednesday - Friday next week.
Ahead of our trip to Portugal, the girls sharpened up with some possession-based and shooting drills at the CFA.
