Newcastle United want to keep hold of their biggest stars this summer as they look to build a bigger, better team to compete next season.
Some players will likely be allowed to leave if the deal works out for all parties, but the aim will be to retain the top stars in order to push on next season amid the return of European football.
We've seen all the baseless rumours linking Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak with moves away from the club this summer, but there's another star who would often have been placed in that 'untouchable' group, and that's Dutch defender Sven Botman.
The £35 million star signed from Lille is the one Newcastle were looking to build their defence around, but a chain of knee injuries has hampered his progress over the last couple of seasons and put question marks over his future.

Sven Botman wants to remain at Newcastle
Paris Saint Germain retain an interest in Sven Botman
That being said, Botman returned to the starting lineup against Chelsea on Sunday and sent us some timely reminders of why he was so revered before his injuries took him away from the team for so long.
Indeed, his reputation is still one of a top defender, and as such, PSG have been said to be keen to take the Dutchman off Newcastle's hands.
Thankfully, that looks like an unlikely move as reported by the iPaper, as Botman wants to stay on Tyneside and is hoping for a new contract at Newcastle.

Sven Botman will need to prove his fitness before a new deal is offered
Botman still needs to convince the Newcastle United medical staff that his injury woes are behind him, but seeing his performance on Sunday, there's a very good case for keeping him around.
There is absolutely no doubt about Botman's ability, but the last two seasons have shed a lot of doubt over his availability, and that could be the dealbreaker for Newcastle.
It's very, very unlikely that Botman will be going anywhere this summer, but he will need to have a good run on the side to earn a new deal, we suspect.
