Cooper Flagg Names Most Underrated NBA Player Without Hesitation

While much of the attention surrounding the NBA community lies on the playoffs, there's been plenty of buzz around the draft.

Cooper Flagg, a freshman out of Duke, is set to begin his NBA journey in 2025, viewed as the consensus No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft.

As Flagg prepares to walk across the stage and embark on his professional career, he sat down with House of Highlights during the NBA Draft Combine.

During a one-on-one interview with the social media brand, Flagg revealed his choice for the "most underrated" player in the NBA.

Flagg has seemingly been paying close attention to the playoffs, pinpointing Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton as the most underrated player in the league.

"I would say Tyrese Haliburton, because people hate him and call him overrated all the time, and say he’s not that good—but he’s just such a good basketball player," Flagg said, via House of Highlights.

Tyrese Haliburton is currently playing in his fourth season with the Indiana Pacers and sixth season in the NBA, having originally begun this career with the Sacramento Kings.

He's found immense success with the Pacers, currently on the verge of leading Indiana to its second straight Eastern Conference Finals appearance.

Throughout the season, Haliburton has averaged 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game. He's ranked No. 3 in the NBA in terms of average assists, placing him at the upper echelon of facilitators in the league.
