As the season draws to a close and the final result is twice as important, Ruben Amorim’s team has been plagued by injuries throughout the season, which has been extremely detrimental.
Luke Shaw has just returned from injury, Lisandro Martínez is still out, and now United’s limited squad depth is being put to the test once more.
Ayden Heaven received another injury setback in training.
The past few week has been hectic at Carrington as staff members have been working extra hours to get players back in time for a big European night at Old Trafford.
Due to a hamstring injury, Joshua Zirkzee, a star player for Manchester United, unfortunately hobbled off the team’s 4-1 loss at Newcastle.
The team had already had a bad day, and the Dutch striker’s early departure only made things more frustrating.
The attacker is expected to miss the remainder of the season, according to Sami Mokbel of BBC Sport.
The unfortunate news was confirmed by Amorim, who said : “Josh, I think he will be out for some games.
“So, let’s focus on the next one.”

Joshua Zirkzee injury update revealed
The timing of Zirkzee’s injury couldn’t have been worse for United, who now lack one of their best players going into a crucial European final matchup with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
However, CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Joshua Zirkzee is doing light intensity training on grass.
A return before the end of the season is deemed unlikely but sources say the Dutch man is working “super” hard in order to make a return.
The plan for the striker was always to return for pre season.
If Zirkzee does return for the UEFA Europa League final, it would provide a huge boost for Ruben Amorim’s squad.
