Final Injury Report Before Nuggets-Thunder Game 5

The Denver Nuggets are on the road on Tuesday night as they face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of their second-round series.

Tuesday’s contest is a massive one for both teams after the Thunder were able to tie the series 2-2 with their victory in Game 4, meaning each team can take complete control of the series in Game 5.

Of course, both teams have been able to pick up one victory on the road and Denver will look to do it again on Tuesday night as they try to grab a 3-2 series lead with a chance to close it out at home on Thursday night in Game 6.

The good news for the Nuggets is that they have a mostly clean injury report as they have none of their core listed on it.

Denver has ruled out rookie center DaRon Holmes II due to a torn Achilles and Hunter Tyson has also been ruled out due to a right ankle sprain that also sidelined him for Game 4.

Despite these two injuries, neither player has been in the rotation during the playoffs and the Nuggets will have their core healthy, including Michael Porter Jr. who continues to play through a left shoulder sprain.

With the Nuggets’ core healthy, they will look to steal another victory on the road but they will need the supporting cast around their star center Nikola Jokic to continue to step up, especially if Jokic continues to struggle shooting the ball.

On the other side, the Thunder enter Tuesday’s game with a clean injury report as they have only one player listed on it.

That player is Nikola Topic who has missed his entire rookie season due to a torn ACL.

Fans can catch Tuesday’s Game 5 matchup between the Nuggets and Thunder at 9:30 p.m. EST on TNT.
