Boogie Fland makes final decision on 2025 NBA Draft

Skip to content Boogie Fland is returning to the college ranks for at least 1 more season.

The star freshman guard initially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft and later entered the transfer portal after a single season at Arkansas, opting to go through the draft process while maintaining his eligibility.

On Tuesday, though, Fland decided to withdraw from the NBA Draft Combine, his agent told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.

Fland now immediately becomes one of the most in-demand players in the portal. He played in 21 games — starting 18 — as a freshman, averaging 13.5 points per game. He missed over two months, though, after undergoing surgery in January to repair a torn UCL on his right thumb.

He returned in time for the Razorbacks’ run to the Sweet 16 but wasn’t able to make a big impact while coming off the bench. In Arkansas’ first-round win against Kansas, he played 24 minutes but scored just 6 points on 2-of-7 shooting while missing all 4 of his 3 point attempts. He added 6 points and was 2-of-8 from the floor against St. John’s before playing a scoreless 9 minutes against Texas Tech in the West regional semifinal.

Now Fland, who was projected as a second-round pick (No. 44 overall) in Givony and Jeremy Woo’s post-lottery mock draft, will seek a new college home, unless he decides to return to Fayetteville.
