Anthony Edwards Used One Word to Hurt Warriors Fans

The Golden State Warriors entered halftime of their Game 4 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night with a two-point lead. Despite not having Steph Curry available in the game, the Warriors had some high hopes of securing a home win at Chase Center to tie the series up.

And then, Anthony Edwards happened.

The Timberwolves star went off in the third quarter. He scored 16 out of his 30 points in the third to lead Minnesota's surge. The Wolves ended up outscoring the Warriors 39-17 in the third quarter, and allowed them to mount a commanding 20-point lead entering the fourth.

There was just no coming back for Golden State from that point on, as Edwards and Co. went on to secure a 117-110 victory to take a 3-1 series lead.

After the game, Edwards was asked about feeling the Warriors fans' pain during his blistering run in the third quarter. The 23-year-old used one word to sum it all up: "satisfaction."

Edwards went on to say that he considers this to be "the best satisfaction ever," as the three-time All-Star chuckled.

Edwards and the Wolves will now be aiming to put Warriors fans out of their misery in their next matchup. Game 5 shifts to Minnesota on Wednesday, and the Timberwolves will have their first opportunity to close this series out.

The Warriors have already announced that Curry will not be able to play in Game 5, thereby putting Minnesota at a major advantage again. At this point, it appears that Edwards and Co. are already smelling blood.
