The Houston Rockets have recently come up in recent NBA trade rumors as they look to improve on last season's 52-win season. The Rockets have one of the better young nucleus in the NBA, as they have drafted extremely well in recent years. One of those teams that have been rumored to be looking to trade is the Boston Celtics.
According to ESPN NBA insider Marc J Spears, " 2 teams I'm keeping an eye on for a couple of these guys, perhaps one is the Houston Rockets. And then another team is the San Antonio Spurs.
Current Houston Rockets Head Coach Ime Udoka is a former coach with the Celtics, so there are strong ties between players. The Celtics are in a strange position as they will go into the offseason knowing they will be without superstar Jayson Tatum as he tore his Achilles' heel.
As the offseason continues to unfold, with rumors the Rockets have made it clear they will do what's best for the team. Reports have surfaced that Jalen Green is untouchable in any trade scenario. Houston is also not interested in breaking up the young core; however, they will be open to the right deal. The Rockets finished the season with the second-best record in the Western Conference.
