Manchester United are gearing up for a busy summer in the transfer market - regardless of whether they secure Champions League football next season.

Ruben Amorim is keen for a busy summer of incomings to try and mould the team more into his image and bring in players who are comfortable playing in his 3-4-2-1 formation.

His cause will be massively helped if United have Champions League football next season as a tool to tempt potential new signings to move to Old Trafford, as well as the extra riches it will give to United's transfer budget.

That completely rests on next week's Europa League final against Tottenham will see United qualify for next season's Champions League - despite a dreadful Premier League campaign.

It is clear United - who are currently 16th in the league table - need reinforcements but they won't be able to bring them in unless they sell players due to their PSR position.

With that in mind, MEN Sport have taken a look at 10 United players who could be on notice to leave the club this summer.

Altay Bayindir

United's goalkeeping situation will be addressed this summer as both Andre Onana and Bayindir have failed to impress in their first two years at the club.

But even if United bring in a new number one, the noises around the situation suggest Onana is keen to stay and fight for his place.

And after two years as a second choice goalkeeper, it is more likely in a World Cup year that Turkish international, Bayindir, will leave the club in search of regular first team football elsewhere

Victor Lindelof

Due to injuries to other players, Lindelof has come back into favour under Amorim in recent weeks and is in contention to start the Europa League final next week.

But when everyone is fit he is behind Matthijs De Ligt, Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire in the pecking order and, arguably, teenage defender Ayden Heaven, too.

The Swedish international is out of contract next month and it would be a surprise if the 30-year-old's eight-year stay at Old Trafford is extended beyond then.

Jonny Evans

Likewise, Jonny Evans' contract is highly unlikely to be extended beyond this season. The 37-year-old has impressed for United across two spells but he has not played at all since the Carabao Cup quarte-final defeat to Tottenham in December.

Tyrell Malacia

Malacia returned to first team football after over a year out of action with injury earlier this year but failed to convince Amorim he was worth keeping around.

The Dutch international joined PSV on a loan deal until the end of the season in January but has failed to impress in Eindhoven. He has been limited to just three league starts and hasn't featured at all in three of PSV's last four games as they chase down Ajax in the Eredivisie title race.

His long term future doesn't look like it belongs at PSV and it certainly doesn't belong at United.

Casemiro

The Brazilian international has enjoyed a renaissance under Amorim this season and has played an important role in steering United to the Europa League final.

But he is 33, on huge wages, and with one year remaining on his current deal at United, this summer represents the last chance to get a transfer fee for the former Real Madrid star.

As interest from the Saudi Pro League continues to persist in Casemiro, United should consider moving him on this summer.

Christian Eriksen

Eriksen has largely been decent across his three seasons at the club since joining on a free transfer from Brentford.

The Danish international has the potential to leave the club having won a trophy in each of his three seasons at Old Trafford but his contract should not be extended beyond this month.

The 32-year-old is said to have interest from Ajax and Brentford over signing him on a free transfer and his future is expected to be away from Manchester.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford and Amorim simply don't see eye to eye and it was the best thing for all parties when he joined Aston Villa on a loan deal in January.

Despite impressing at Villa Park, United's stance should remain unmoved and they will look to sell the England international on a permanent basis this summer.

Any fee they bank will count as pure profit towards any PSR regulations and Villa and Barcelona are said to be among the 27-year-old's potential suitors.

Antony

Put simply, Antony's £86million move to Manchester United from Ajax three years ago just didn't work out.

For many reasons, the Brazil international just wasn't good enough to play for United, regardless of his incredible renaissance on loan at Real Betis in recent months.

The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and bagged five assists since moving to the Spanish side in January and they are desperate to make his loan move permanent.

Atletico Madrid are also said to be monitoring his situation and that should see United recoup a decent transfer fee for him this summer.

Jadon Sancho

Another big money signing who just didn't work at Manchester United, Sancho's future lies away from Old Trafford.

Having spent half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, the England international has spent this term on loan at Chelsea.

But his success in West London has been infrequent and it remains to be seen whether the Blues will sign him permanently.

With one year remaining on his contract at United, one thing that is absolutely certain is that Sancho won't be at Old Trafford next season

Joshua Zirkzee

Neither Zirkzee or Rasmus Hojlund have set the world alight up front this season and United are known to be in the market for a new forward.

Viktor Gyokeres, Liam Delap and Matheus Cunha are among the names that have been linked with United and you would think one of Zirkzee or Hojlund would leave the club.

Reports suggest a number of Italian clubs are monitoring the Dutch international's success this term after his form for Bologna last season. His situation this summer is one to keep an eye on.
