'I would love to': Out-of-contract Everton star issues plea to Moyes to grant his dream of…

Contract decisions are the talk of the club currently at Everton as players are still waiting to learn their fate.

David Moyes and his staff are certainly taking their time in making their decisions on who they would like to retain ahead of next season.

A serious amount of work needs to be done at Everton as the club prepares for their fresh start under the Friedkins at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Moyes has been undertaking Everton contract talks at Finch Farm recently, but there has been no major developments to come from them.

With just a matter of weeks before the summer transfer window opens, it is apparent some of the players are growing impatient.

Now, one of them has made a last-ditch attempt to stake his claim for a new contract to be sent his way.

Speaking on Toffee TV, Doucoure has now doubled down on his desire to stay at the club as he has shared his wish to play at Bramley-Moore Dock.

“I would love to [stay], to be honest. I’m not joking, I would love to stay!” he said.

“I love the club and nothing is in my hands anymore I’m just waiting on the club to offer me that contract. With my agent, we will see what the solution is going to be.

“I would love to play for Everton, I would love to stay at the club and I would love to play in the new stadium.”

Moyes has warned Doucoure he won’t be bullied into making his decision through the midfielder’s public demands.

The Mali midfielder has now made a number of media appearances where he has spoken about his situation as he wish has been made abundantly clear.

Everton need to make their decision on Doucoure

There is now just two weeks until Doucoure will be forced to take matters into his own hands.

Although there will be some time still on his deal after the final game of the season, Doucoure has warned Everton he will leave if he is not offered a new deal in the coming weeks.

All of the Everton players are still waiting to hear a verdict on their contracts.

Everton are going to have to retain some of the players otherwise they are going to be left with a mammoth task this summer in the market.

It is clear Doucoure wants to stay, but do the club want to keep him is the question.
