Nottingham Forest’s transfer plans are well underway.
Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw against Leicester confirmed their European tour next season, so the club will have to recruit accordingly.
Forest already have their eye on Southampton star Mateus Fernandes, who is viewed as the ideal profile for their midfield.
Manchester City’s James McAtee is also being linked with a move to the City Ground, though, there is plenty of competition for his signature.
Meanwhile, there could be a damaging outgoing as Manchester United are eyeing one of Nottingham Forest’s best players.

Manchester United eye Nottingham Forest star Callum Hudson-Odoi
Callum Hudson-Odoi is out of contract next summer and as such, there have been a number of reports suggesting he could leave.
Serie A league leaders Napoli have made Hudson-Odoi their top target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Now, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Manchester United are circling the Forest wide player.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Sheth notes that Forest remain in talks with Hudson-Odoi to extend his stay at the City Ground, but it appears there’s been no movement on that thus far.
Nottingham Forest could replace Hudson-Odoi with Yoane Wissa
It’s understood Forest still remain interested in Brentford forward Yoane Wissa, who they tried to sign in January.
Brentford’s £40m valuation put them off back then, but Wissa has continued to produce in front of goal and with European football on the horizon, they’ll have a bigger budget to play with.
Wissa’s teammate Bryan Mbeumo has also been heavily linked to Forest, however, it seems like Newcastle United are leading the race for his signature.
A telling summer awaits.
