Daniel Farke needs to prepare his Leeds United side for life in the Premier League after gaining promotion to the top flight as champions.
Immediately after gaining promotion, there were some suggestions that Farke was not safe in his role, due to concerns over his previous form in the top league.
However, it looks as though the German will be staying put now, meaning the boss needs the 49ers to show support, ready for the summer transfer window.

Farke to look to Emi Buendia transfer
Supporters are well aware of Emi Buendia, who was linked with a move to Elland Road from Aston Villa during the winter transfer window.
However, the attacker joined Bayer Leverkusen on loan until the end of the season instead.

The deal was signed with an option to buy, but after having made 10 appearances, it has been reported by German Sports Illustrated that Buendia is leaving the Bundesliga.

Buendia could be signed by Leeds this summer.
The report states that after the final game of the season, the 28-year-old received applause from his side’s supporters, but is now set to return to Aston Villa.
However, it seems unlikely that the West Midlands is where his future lies, either.
With that in mind, Farke can now revisit the possibility of signing his former player in the summer transfer window, boosted in his pursuit by now being a Premier League side.

Leeds in for a busy summer
Although achieving promotion to the top flight is a massive achievement for Leeds, the hard work starts now with a campaign to retain a position in the top flight once more.
With all three promoted sides from last term coming straight back down to the Championship, it serves as a reminder of just how hard the task is.
The 49ers have shown ambition at Elland Road, and with expansion plans, it’s clear that they see their progression as being in the top flight.
With that in mind, you would expect a strong level of investment to support the manager in his aims over the summer.
Buendia is a player who Farke trusts, having managed him before and with Villa seemingly keen to offload him, this could be a deal that is fairly simple to get over the line.
