Ryan Giggs believes there is no way back for Marcus Rashford at Manchester United.
The relationship between Rashford and Ruben Amorim broke down in December and the academy graduate joined Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the season in the mid-season transfer window.
Rashford has contributed four goals and six assists in 17 appearances on loan at Aston Villa, but he picked up a hamstring injury in April and now looks to have played his final game of the season.
The Manchester Evening News interviewed Ryan Giggs in March, and the Welshman left the door open for Rashford's return, saying he would "obviously like" to see him return to United.
However, Giggs did concede it was unlikely and, a few months later, he has claimed there is no way back for the academy graduate.
The Webby & O’Neill show asked Giggs if United should sell Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia to raise funds and he said: "I think that’s down to Amorim.

"I think he’s already made up his own mind and it might have even been taken out of his own hands by the powers that be to bring money in to get his (Amorim's) kind of player in.
"Marcus leaves a little bit of a sour taste in your mouth because he is one of our own, he’s come through, he’s done so well when he was first in the team. But he didn’t look happy here.
"He looked under pressure and like he wasn't enjoying his football. So for Marcus’ sake, he's still a young man, and you can see him enjoying his football now. I don’t see a way back for any of them."
Rashford has been linked with Barcelona and Giggs was asked whether the 27-year-old would be part of their best starting XI. "Marcus can play in any team. He has shown the quality he has got," he said.
"For some reason, it just hasn’t happened the last few years at United. When I was playing my best football, it was because I was free, I was expressing myself, enjoying myself.
"It didn’t look like that when Marcus was here. Now it looks like he is. He needs to find a place where he is going to be loved, so he can reach the levels he is capable of."
Villa's option to buy Rashford on a permanent deal would see them pay £40million and selling the academy graduate at the beginning of the summer will be crucial to unlock funds for new arrivals at United.
Rashford was recalled to the England squad shortly after leaving United in the mid-season transfer window.
