Everton are set for a big summer as the Friedkin Group prepares for their first proper transfer window as owners.
The arrival of the American investors at the end of last year led to David Moyes returning to Goodison Park, with standards rising throughout.
If the Toffees are looking to progress going forward, though, TFG will be required to show the Scotsman financial support in preparation for next term.

Moyes sets out Everton’s transfer window
Everton will be looking at making several changes to their side this summer, as a new group is formed ready for a move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
There are decisions to be made over out-of-contract players first, as Moyes will be well aware that a complete overhaul is not possible.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Although TFG are expected to increase the levels of investment, knowing the dangers of getting on the wrong side of PSR restrictions, things will have to be measured.
Nevertheless, for supporters who have put up with seasons without getting excited about transfers, what’s to come with be welcomed.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (14 May, 8:39 am), when asked if he will be busy in the summer, Moyes said: “Yeah, I think we will be.
“The new owners have come in and we’re trying to sort of find our way with them. They’re in America and we’re trying to catch up with things, we’ve just got a new CEO started. So, there’s a lot of things we’re trying to put in place.
“I’ve got a good idea about what the club needs and what the people want, and moving to a new stadium, what it’s going to mean for them as well. So yeah, I expect us to be well supported in the transfer market.
“I don’t think it’ll be outrageous, but I think we’ll be able to do a bit of business.”
Moyes ready for the summer
Moyes’ comments will surely be welcome news to supporters on Merseyside, as he has further shown he completely understands Everton and what is needed.
Additions are necessary to push the team further up the table next season and ensure that the Toffees are nowhere near the relegation zone.
However, a balance certainly has to be struck too and TFG will be well aware that to achieve the sustainable progress they are looking for has to be a project over a number of seasons, rather than splurging a load of cash at once.
With the American owners on the other side of the world, new appointments like Angus Kinnear will no doubt be key to the constant relationship between the parties on different continents, ensuring all needs are met on Merseyside.
It seems as though there is harmony at Goodison, though, and with Moyes knowing exactly what he is looking for, it will hopefully be a smooth window for the Toffees, making a nice change from recent seasons.
The likes of Sean Longstaff, Liam Delap and Richarlison have all been linked with moves to Merseyside this summer, and whether or not all of these materialise is yet to be seen, but it certainly does indicate that preparation is well underway.
Moyes will have to get his new side playing in harmony, as this season’s team have shown that you can have quality, but it doesn’t always shine through.
TFG will be keen to support him, though, with the job he has done so far.
