Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has moved to quash speculation that the club want to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international fell out of favour with Partenopei head coach Antonio Conte at the start of the season and was subsequently shipped off to Galatasaray on a 12-month loan.
Osimhen has enjoyed a productive spell in Turkey, scoring 33 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions, and is on the verge of winning the Super Lig title with Aslan.
The 26-year-old is expected to return to Naples at the end of the current campaign, but his future remains unclear and he continues to be linked with some of the best teams in Europe.
Reports in Italy claimed that the Old Lady have tabled an €85 million bid for Osimhen after agreeing a deal with the Serie A winner.
However, Giuntoli insists the rumours couldn’t be further from the truth, telling reporters: “I am not interested in Osimhen.
“The rumours that you read in the Italian media are only to put pressure on us. Juventus does not want the player.”
