Former Ipswich Town forward Jordan Rhodes is now a free agent after his contract expired at League One side Blackpool.

The 35-year-old ended the season on loan with third tier rivals Mansfield Town, where he netted one goal in 14 games.

Rhodes is one of 12 players to be released by the Tangerines, ending his second spell at the club after moving to Bloomfield Road on a permanent deal last summer.

He enjoyed a successful loan stint in 2023/24, scoring 15 goals on loan from Huddersfield Town, but struggled to hit that same form this season.

The veteran frontman will now be looking for the 12th club of his career this summer after starting out at Portman Road, coming through the youth academy.

Overall, Rhodes made 10 substitute appearances for Town, scoring one goal, before manager Roy Keane allowed him to leave for just £350,000 in 2009.

Since then, he has gone on to score close to 250 goals across his career and is a former Scotland international with 14 caps to his name.

As well as Town he's played for Oxford, Rochdale, Brentford, Huddersfield, Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Norwich City, Blackpool and Mansfield.
