Manchester United have won just 10 Premier League games this season and are languishing in 16th place

Ruben Amorim has had a disappointing few months in charge of Man United
Manchester United have reportedly decided against holding an end-of-season awards dinner following a disappointing domestic campaign.
Ruben Amorim's side currently sit 16th in the Premier League, having won just ten of their 36 matches so far. With just two games remaining - against Tottenham and Aston Villa - United cannot finish higher than 13th, even if they win both matches.
Every May, the club hosts a gala dinner at Old Trafford, where paying guests watch players from the men’s, women’s, and youth teams receive awards for their performances throughout the season. However, there won't be one this month, according to The Times.
The Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award is voted for by the fans while the Jimmy Muprhy award is for the best talent in the academy. Previous winners include Mark Hughes, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo.
There is also a Player's Player of the Year award.
With there being no plans for the gala, the report adds that those awards and others are expected to be handed out on the pitch before their final Premier League match of the season with Villa.
The decision also aligns with Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s efforts to cut costs and redirect more revenue into strengthening the squad. Since Ratcliffe and INEOS assumed control in Manchester, the club has already undergone two rounds of redundancies.
United still have a chance to secure European silverware this season, with a Europa League final against Tottenham set for May 21 in Bilbao.
However, even if they return to Manchester with the trophy, Ratcliffe has reportedly opted to keep celebrations low-key.
