The Pacers are headed back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second consecutive season, becoming the first team in NBA history to make the conference finals in back-to-back years without being a top three seed in either year. They’ll now await the winner of the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks series with a chance to head to the NBA Finals. Hours after closing out the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle joined the show to discuss their ambitions going forward.

Carlisle also discussed last night’s win, Pascal Siakam’s veteran leadership especially in the playoffs and why he initially took the job to return to the Pacers and some “creative heckling” he received from a Cavs fan in Game 5.
