David Moyes has a top priority at Everton in the upcoming transfer window as Bristol City midfielder Jason Knight is being eyed.
The Toffees have had a decent second half of the season as fears of relegation at Goodison Park have been diminished.
The Friedkin Group (TFG) replaced Sean Dyche with Moyes after their takeover, which has paid dividends.
With the move to Bramley-Moore Dock on the horizon, the Blues should bolster the Scottish manager’s squad next summer to make further progress in the league table and already have a Championship prospect on their radar.

Everton to bolster midfield as good transfer offer for Knight to be accepted
Moyes has made strengthening the midfield a top priority at the Merseyside outfit amid interest in Knight, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reports (14 May) that the Toffees are monitoring the 24-year-old, who has 37 caps for Ireland, after he helped Bristol get a chance at winning promotion.

Knight’s Championship record this season.
It’s been claimed that the Robins risk losing the midfielder after being beaten by Sheffield United in the Championship play-off semi-final.
While no price tag has been set for Knight at Ashton Gate, a good offer from the Blues could be accepted.

Friedkins to give Moyes what he wants
Since replacing Farhad Moshiri, TFG have impressed the Goodison Park faithful, and their decision to make the Grand Old Lady the home ground of the women’s team from next season has only instilled more faith in supporters.
Instead of abandoning the historic stadium after moving to Bramley-Moore Dock, the Toffees have decided to retain it.
The Friedkins must now back Moyes in the upcoming transfer window, as several signings may be needed with a bunch of players set to become free agents at the Merseyside outfit.
Everton could lose Abdoulaye Doucoure soon, which would arguably be a big blow for the Scottish manager, who has heavily relied on him.
Idrissa Gueye’s future at Goodison Park is also uncertain, and the exits of two prominent midfielders will need to be addressed next summer.
The Toffees can rely on James Garner and Carlos Alcaraz for the upcoming campaign, but more depth and strength will be evidently needed if Moyes wants to compete for silverware.
Knight has shown impressive leadership qualities and reliability at Bristol, which is something the Scottish manager could use at Bramley-Moore Dock.
