Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to line the city's streets on Monday, May 26, as Liverpool Football Club mark their historic 20th English league title with a parade. The club wrapped up the Premier League title with a 5-1 hammering of Spurs on April 27.

The victory parade route will start at Allerton Maze and will travel northbound on Queens Drive. It will head towards the Fiveways roundabout and Rocket flyover. From there it will journey along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, The Strand before it finishes at Blundell Street.

It is expected the 15km-long parade will last anywhere between three to five hours, but this is subject to change. ‌Ahead of the showpiece event, the organisers of the parade have issued advice and some warnings to the many people expected to come out across Liverpool for the occasion.

As in 2019 and in 2022, the key advice to supporters is to line the entire route and plan travel in advance. However, those planning to attend have been reminded that some items are prohibited.

Liverpool City Council said: "The use of flares, pyrotechnics, or anything similar is strictly prohibited. The use of pyrotechnics poses risk of injury to fellow fans and serious health risks."

Additionally, no drones are allowed on the parade route and any unauthorised drones will be removed.

Liverpool City Council’s cabinet member for culture and public health, Councillor Harry Doyle, said: “Bank Holiday Monday is set to be a day to remember for the whole city, and with an event of this scale, a bit of planning goes a long way.

“That’s why we’ve created a clear, easy FAQs to make sure everyone has the key information they need to feel confident, stay safe, and enjoy the day in their own way.”

The council has also answered other key questions about the event. They are:
