Angus Kinnear shares exciting Everton summer plans
Jamie Carragher ‘fascinated’ after spotting Arsenal copying tactic Sean Dyche implemented at Everton as the club are in need of an upgrade in quality for the new campaign.

MORE EVERTON STORIES
Addressing the fans for the first time, Kinnear has shared some exciting plans for the Everton faithful to get behind ahead of the summer.
“We know we have a really big summer ahead of us. There’s a huge restructuring to be done in terms of the squad. I think it’s pretty unprecedented at Premier League level,” he said.
“But I think David and I see that as an opportunity to take the team on to the next level, build on all of his good work and fundamentally have a team that’s looking up the table.”
Everton are looking to address four key positions when the transfer window opens.
However, that number could well increase when the club come to a conclusion as to who they are going to keep beyond their expiring contracts.
Kinnear impresses in his first Everton interview
Ultimately, actions speak louder than words, but this was a solid start for Kinnear on Merseyside.
Kinnear was spotted at Craven Cottage at the weekend as he watched his new side take three points from Fulham.
His work will be evaluated at the end of the summer transfer window when Everton’s squad takes shape for the new season.
With work going on behind the scenes, Kinnear is keen to sign two more Leeds chiefs to bolster Everton’s recruitment set-up.
“I see the potential in everything that Everton is and everything that it can be. I want to be aggressive in our ambitions,” he added.
“I think there’s lots of case studies that we’ve seen recently of teams that I would see as smaller than Everton. Perhaps Nottingham Forest making a run on Europe, Crystal Palace getting to an FA Cup final. They’re all things that should be in our ambitions for the medium-term.”
