As the Golden State Warriors prepare for a win-or-go-home Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Semifinals, there isn't much optimism in The Bay. After winning Game 1, the Warriors lost Stephen Curry to injury in Game 2, and he has yet to return to the series.
Curry, by all reports, will not play in Game 5, and the Warriors will need to steal a game in the Land of Lakes for even a chance of him returning in Game 6 on Sunday, which is not yet a gurantee.
Curry will be re-evaluated later on Wednesday, although there is not much reason to believe he will suit up. One team insider provided fans with a rather dire prediction.

"My guess is today they'll reevaluate and say day-to-day, and he will be reevaluated again Saturday or something prior to Game 6," predicted insider Anthony Slater. "And if they happen to win tonight, they'll probably continue to test it up towards Sunday and decide later if he can go."
Of course, if the Warriors lose, Curry will have all offseason to recover, but after trading for Jimmy Butler this season, losing in the second round is an unacceptable result.
If the Warriors do manage to upset the Wolves, Curry will certainly be called on to play in Game 6, even if he is not 100 percent healthy.
Anthony Edwards and even Julius Randle have been fantasct in this series, although Curry remains the best player on either team, but without him, it's hard to imagine the Warriors even getting to a Game 6.
The game will tip off on Wednesday at 9:30 PM EST on TNT and Max, with the Warriors as an 11-point underdog.
