Leny Yoro suffered a foot injury against West Ham at the weekend
Ruben Amorim will give Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro as long as they need to prove their fitness for next week's Europa League final.
Yoro limped out of Sunday's defeat to West Ham with a foot injury and although he missed the open training session on Wednesday, he was at Carrington and did a session in the gym.
De Ligt hasn't played since going off injured in the 4-3 defeat at Brentford 10 days ago. Amorim initially ruled him out of the second leg of the Europa League semi-final second leg against Athletic Bilbao and the weekend game against the Hammers, but said it was a minor injury and would be assessed on a daily basis.
"I don’t know if they’re going to be available, we’ll try to push, it’s a final, all the players want to play really bad. I don’t think they will not go to Chelsea but we’ll have some of them for the final," said Amorim.
Lisandro Martinez is out for the season and Ayden Heaven also missed Wednesday's session amid his injury issues, leaving United short in the centre of defence.
Noussair Mazraoui, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw are the only senior options in the centre of defence currently fit and available.
Wing-back Dalot has been out a little longer but did interviews as part of the media day on Wednesday and Amorim confirmed he is doing all he can to prove his fitness, having done an individual training session earlier in the day.
"Dalot is trying really bad. I don’t want to risk Dalot, when you start getting one injury, a second injury is a big thing," said Amorim. "We cannot have these kind of problems in our squad. He’s working really hard to get in the final."
