Report: Man Utd now in pole position to sign another "unbelievable" forward alongside Cunha and …

Manchester United are leading the race to sign Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo this summer, journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed.

The Red Devils are reportedly in ‘pole position’ to land the highly sought-after Ghanaian after the season, as they plan a major overhaul of Ruben Amorim’s attacking options.

United are already in advanced talks to sign Wolves star Matheus Cunha and could target another forward next, with both Semenyo and Ipswich Town sensation Liam Delap among their potential additions.

It is believed that their chances of landing Semenyo could be boosted if they beat Tottenham in the Europa League final next Thursday and qualify for next season’s Champions League.

According to O’Rourke, Semenyo has no shortage of Premier League admirers amid an impressive campaign at Bournemouth, with United likely to face competition from the likes of Newcastle and Arsenal for the Ghana international.

The £70m-rated 25-year-old, praised as ‘unbelievable’, has registered 11 goals and seven assists in 40 appearances across all competitions this term and has been a standout performer under Andoni Iraola.

Bournemouth will be in a strong negotiating position should United step up their interest, as Semenyo is under contract at the Vitality Stadium until June 2029.

Bournemouth may be bracing for a first-team exodus after the season, as both Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen are also attracting significant interest ahead of the market reopening.

While Huijsen is being monitored by several top clubs, Kerkez has emerged as a strong left-back target for champions Liverpool and could depart after two promising seasons on the Dorset coast.
