New Kyrie Irving Video Catches Attention After Season-Ending Injury

Kyrie Irving has worn many jerseys and played many roles during his NBA journey. Now, he finds himself in a place of redemption, working to return from a season-ending injury suffered in March.

Irving tore his ACL in the first quarter of a game against the Sacramento Kings. The 33-year-old missed the rest of the season, with early projections suggesting he could be sidelined through the 2025-26 season. Determined to defy expectations, Irving is doing everything he can to get back on the court.

On Wednesday, he posted a video of his rehab set to a new song, and it quickly gained traction on social media.

A big Kyrie fan posted: "Bro is extremely talented! Glad to see and hear his positive energy! @KyrieIrving be blessed!"

"There’s always an unknown with injuries, but my guess is he’ll come back just fine." said this fan.

Another NBA fan mentioned: "He’s definitely coming back in january this is like the fastest recovery I’ve ever seen. Klay Thompson said he couldn’t drive a car for a year, and here’s Kyrie balancing all his weight on that leg."

This post praised Kyrie: "My son Kai actually nice."

This fan loved the song: "That song is harddddd."

A compliment or not, good company from this fan: "why kyrie sounding like cole though."

After a short stint at Duke, Irving was selected first overall in the 2011 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Teaming up with LeBron James, he played a pivotal role in bringing Cleveland its historic 2016 NBA championship.

Irving left Cleveland in 2017 in a trade to the Boston Celtics. He later joined the Brooklyn Nets and is now with the Dallas Mavericks. Over the course of his career, he has been named an NBA All-Star nine times and was the All-Star Game MVP in 2014.

The 6-foot-2 guard has averaged 23.7 points and 5.6 assists over 779 career regular season games. Impressively, he has started every game he has played in the NBA.

Dallas fans got more exciting news on Monday when the Mavericks won the NBA draft lottery. With the top pick, they’re expected to select Cooper Flagg, another Duke standout, adding even more intrigue to the team's future. The Mavericks will look to improve upon their 39-43 record from 2024-25.
