Leeds United could make an ambitious move for Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas over the coming months, according to reports - with the Greek star set to tumble down the pecking order at Anfield once new recruits are brought to Merseyside in the summer transfer window.
The Whites achieved promotion from the Championship via the title, racking up 100 points to pip Burnley to the trophy on the final day of the season - and with that in mind, they know they must strengthen massively to stay up, in which Tsimikas could make his way across the Pennines to turn out for the west Yorkshire outfit come August.

It's widely believed that current Whites full-back Junior Firpo will join former club Real Betis in the summer once his contract expires, and Daniel Farke's side are set to enter the market for a Premier League-ready replacement, who already has experience in the top-flight.
Teammate Caoimhin Kelleher has also been considered by Elland Road chiefs, but he's not their main target to replace Illan Meslier at this stage - and so full focus can be turned to Tsimikas.
The Greek star is set to be available this summer, with Liverpool chasing a new left-back - with Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez in their minds as a potential incoming - and with Tsimikas having just two years left on his current £80,000-per-week deal, a sale could be administered this summer to bring in as high a fee as possible.
Leeds are keen, needing new recruits to boost their prospects of bucking the trend of newly-promoted sides heading straight back down to the Championship, as has happened in both of the past two years - and so new owners, 49ers Enterprises, are keen to spend over £100million to combat that.
And Farke could opt for the 29-year-old, who has spent the last five years on Merseyside, featuring in 65 top-flight games under both Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot - with this season matching his record number of appearances for the club with 28 outings in all competitions, in which he's turned out 17 times in the league for the new champions as he played his part in getting them over the line.
